Grey walls for almond trim and doors??

We just moved to a house where all trim, baseboard, doors and light plates are almond. House has earthy colors. I would like to pain the walls grey or white and give it a more contemporary look but can't find a color to go with the almond trim and doors- they look aged with other colors ...Do I need to repaint all the doors, trim, etc of the whole house to match a clean crispy grey on the walls???

    Earthy and gray seldom go together so yes to make your choices easier I would paint out all the almond and change switches to white
