Using undercounter microwave drawers

I'm considering getting a microwave drawer and mounting it at under-counter height (under a steam oven that is mounted at counter height). I'll probably get a Wolf because I think it will look the best with a Miele Combi (a whole lotta black).

Can you use the controls easily without stooping or kneeling? I'm worried about being able to see the controls.

I think I answered my own question:

The top of my current wall oven is 6" above counter height. My small fire safe is 7" high, so I stood on it to see if I could see its touch controls. It doesn't look like it will be a problem at all. Yay!

I have a Wolf undercounter and, if you're like me, 99% of the time the only buttons you'll press are open/close, stop/pause and the number keys for inputting a time. You get to know those placements by heart so you don't have to "see" the controls often at all.

If you mean right under the counter, that is the ideal place for it. If you mean underneath the steam oven that i right under the counter, then I would look for another spot for your microwave. You say you are concerned about the controls, but you will be bending and reaching lower to place food, remove it or stir, etc.
