Marguerite buds dying

My potted marguerite plant is struggling to flower.

The new buds seem to go brown and dry out, and the stem just below the bud looks sapped of life too.

    yes.. there is something wrong with the pot ...and how it ... the media.. is handling water ...either too wet.. or too dry ...


    but since you give us nothing else to go on... we cant go any further ..
