Thank you for posting, since you grew all 3, what did you think of them? I have grown sungold and sunsugar, but seperate years.

I love yellow currants for snacking. Sungold taste better than sunsugar to me. If I eat one after the other, Sungold is sweeter, while Sunsugar is a little less sweet, and a bit more tart. So my guess (totally unscientific) is if you like sweet toms, Sungold is better than Sunsugar.

Just happened on this thread. I also grew both SS and SG this year, and have to say I prefer the Sun Sugar here in the south. Thinner skin and sweeter for me. Planted at the same time and both from seed. In the past Sun golds have cracked a bit more. I won't turn either one down though!
