The paint color is a very light cool gray on the walls and the hardware is chrome

The two grays don't seem terribly well matched in tone -- the cabinets are cooler. However, monitors can be misleading, so maybe the darker tone in the tile is close enough. As for overall tone, that's just a matter of taste. I prefer a textured gray to a white for the floor, but either could be made to work...

Thanks Acm. Let me clarify. I actually meant cabinet color. Should I have gone with white cabinets instead of gray?

Well it's a done deal, you have the grey cabinet, so don't second guess yourself. I would not go with grey tile on the floor, you need to lighten things up. I would do carrera hex or herringbone on floor. At some point would repaint the grey walls, too much grey and it ends up looking like a dark box.

I can't change the floor bc it would be another upgrade but I can change cabinets to white. We haven't even started framing yet but I have to have all interior selections in by morning.

I just finished mine in white. I love it.

White cabinets are so overdone. The grey will look great once you get all your accessories in there!

Nice choices you've made. The floor has a bit of a cocoa hue so I suggest adding another element--perhaps the sink wall... here are some examples---found at Tile Oasis...

well if you love the grey then go with it. I personally think white gives you more options for future changes ie if you want to repaint walls a different color, but grey is a good neutral, I don't think you can go wrong. As long as that room has windows and gets a lot of natural light, you should be ok. The light counter will balance the darks of the cabinet and floor. I'm assuming its a tub and no shower? If there is a shower, just make sure you use lighter colored tiles with some grey in the mix to tie it all together...
