My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Tongue and groove boards do want a primer coat on all surfaces before installation and final coats. This is because if the boards move due to moisture changes there won't be any unpainted stripey reveals that show up after they move.

      I would contact your local lumber yard and I am sure they can help. It would help if you went to look at the options because often a v-groove board has a bead on the other side, or a single bead has a double bead on the other side. So, seeing your options in person is the best way to go.
