Lisa, those look like scale or mealy bugs.

Mike's are different; his are leafhoppers, which are pretty benign.

Scale is more important to control.

I have Safers End All. Do you think that would work? I don't even know what scale is.

I'm not familiar with that product. Honestly I'd start by spraying with a strong water spray, then follow up with Q-tip in alchohol. Then maybe use a pesticide if those don't work.

Thanks Dave, I hope I can get her to get a grip before I end up with the residual effects. Or I guess my best bet is to do it myself. Oh how I wish at least the lightning would stop.

Mealy bugs

Bayer 3in 1 works great.. Use on a cloudy day .. Or evening. You can buy it as a regular spray bottle or one that attaches to your hose..

It works as a systemic as well.

I think it looks like both too. The more I looked, the more I found. My neighbor is one of those who wants all the beauty but doesn't like the work. I like love the work and the rewards. I'm gonna go get some of the Bayer 3 in 1 and keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't skip over the fence to my plants. Thanks everybody.
