My first blogging experience. I asked a question got two replies.

Hymenocallis (white spider lily) is the name of my Lily and I live in Calgary Alberta

Not as cold as Winnipeg.

I got my spider Lily from Arizona, it is beautiful when it blooms. Is it true it needs to be root bound in order to bloom?

I will put my plants in my basement storage, do I clip them back before they go down?

I am not sure how to directly answer someone who responded to my first question. I guess you can call me a baby blogger. LOL

You just go back to the original post and respond in the "Comments" section.....exactly as I am doing here! And to get techie on you, a forum is not the same as a blog. A blog is your very own website where you write articles/musings and readers can respond. Right now you are a newbie forum participant :-)

For specifics on your spider lily care, you can Google 'hymenocallis care' and various websites will appear that will provide guidance. Or with luck, someone who actually grows these as containerized plants will chime in. I have no personal experience with them myself.
