That looks like possibly, a Fukien Tea Tree or, a Chinese Elm. Those do look very cool, It's half bonsai, and half terrarium. I grow bonsai's, and that's hard enough, I don't know about doing it in a jar.

I too am looking for info, I have one of those old large glass water bottles with a hole cut in the side. Maybe I could put A bonsai in it.??

These look absolutely gorgeous. I love terrariums, and I love bonsai trees. I've just recently started doing terrariums, but bonsai trees I haven't been able to find anywhere (let alone ones small enough to plant in a jar).

You might consider the naturally dwarf Begonia dregei as a pseudo-bonsai. It loves the high humidity you can have in a terrarium, doesn't need bright light and tolerates pruning.
