Hello, has anyone (I am about a half an hour north of Pittsburgh) grown turnips in thier fall garden? I am wondering if I should plant them now or if I need to wait a week or so. Also, should I plant them a little deeper than the package instructions say to do since they are going in during the summer heat? Anyone have any other particular fall garden success stories or pointers for someone planting a fall garden for the first time? Thanks in advance.
