Where is the hood vent?

Hi. I have a similar design I am working on in my new house. My question has to do with the hood. Where is the vent for the hood placed and if it is on an outside wall, how did you finish the outside so it doesn't interfere with the lines of the window and the exterior appeal?

    This is an exterior wall on the side of the house. Neither the homeowner or neighbors have it in their normal line of sight. This may not be the solution for every project. Depending on if the blower is at the hood or a remote blower you may want to run the duct all the way up to the roof.
