Carol it may be a bee. lol I have some that look like that but I really think thats a type of fly. It doesn't seem to be hurting them but I'm not sure I've seen them before on my roses. Judy

You are killing my budget. Every single time you post your lovely photos I find at least one more I can't live without. My wish list is much longer than I can fill in one year so I'll have to go through and pick the best of all of them. Just out of curiosity how many years have you be adding to your beautiful garden of roses?

Beth, I like this photo of your Bridal Pink, where there were TWO bees: Bridal Pink in Beth's garden. Either you have a long lens camera or you are very brave to get that close. Great photo.
