We are renovating (totally after a flood in 2013) a small "quarry" house with the original cabin from 1900 or before. Several additions over the years have chopped up the floors...some fur, oak,etc. Now we have sturdy new subfloors and can't seem to pick a type or color. We love rustic but smooth finished wood; cozy mountain/beach look in the bedroom...lots of character; beachy in the livingroom; mountainy in the office/mancave...all rooms are near each other..about 850 feet with the hallway. We feel it should all be the same? It is just we two ...but have lots of grandkids, a cat, and don't want to work/ maintenance but love wood or that look. Please help..Thank-you. Georgi
