I have 3 Big Beefs.

Big Beef has my vote too! I harvested 100+ from one plant, grown in a 25-gallon fabric pot.

My single plant is doing ok but nothing close to yours. But I am still happy with it and It will be back, for sure.

Wow, that's awesome. You may have convinced me to give it a try next year. Is it an OP variety?

Every year I look at the plants of other varieties that don't meet my expectations of productivity and say to myself "I should have planted another Big Beef there". I'm already telling myself that at least half my plants next year will be Big Beef.

My three Big Beefs are hybrids.

Saturday I picked all these tomatoes, today some more Big Beefs. That's about 100 Big Beefs picked off 3 plants. I'm lovin it.

I am harvesting some to but nothing close to yours. But it is picking up speed.

My single Big beef has produced about 4 ripe ones but has a lot of green ones and it keeps setting. My other producer is Azoychka. I pick the first one a flush yesterday. I pick pretty good amounts of grape/cherry types, some 4th of July , Black frm Tula and Brandy boy. My favorites , CP and AN are way behind.

I miss my black tomatoes. If they were as productive BB I would plant all black tomatoes.

they're an excellent hybrid. i have one plant in a container that is about 4 ft tall and harvested about 25 baseball size tomatoes so far. im tempted to save some of the seeds since i don't have any more, but not sure what i'd end up with using the saved seeds.. anyone successful growing second generation hybrid tomatoes?

V...my Big Beef plants are by far the best producers I have had in my garden. The taste (for me) is rated "good". This year I thought I would grow Beefmaster right next to my BB. BM is OK...but BB blows it out of the water on production. Next year I plan to downgrade to about 10-12 plants. BB will probably be my only hybrid.
