What type of grass is this?

Below are pictures of a grass that I really like but cannot figure out which kind it is.

I know it is very dense (feels like a carpet when walking on it), it grows in shade and near Leyland Cypress, it doesn't require a lot of maintenance and somehow it stays weeds free.

Compared to my Bermuda this thing is a lot thicker/dense and nicer (when cut).

What do you think it is?

    Centipede and St. Augustine are warm-season grasses that go dormant (brown) in the winter in Georgia. There may be occasional exceptions in deep-south Georgia during mild winters-but not typical.

    With you in Atlanta, you are likely looking at a coarse cultivar of tall fescue. This is a cool season grass that does best in spring and fall -- stays green through the winter-- and can survive summers if kept tall (3"-4"). The taller the grass, the deeper the roots and more tolerant to stresses. Tall fescue may brown and thin some during very hot summers but does well in some shade where it is cooler.
