Because of all the trees it darkens the area. I would lighten up the siding color a bit! if you like the green, go with a ligther shade. Something like this...

Thanks so much for your comments!! I never thought of adding another color...the pictures that you posted are truly helpful. With the trees it is dark and the color is distorted...the front side is north facing and the back full southern exposure so you really get 2 different feelings from the paint. Great ideas!!

I would be careful using two different colors on the siding. It might start looking like a series of condos, not a single home. I like what you currently have. Maybe lighten the siding color just a little, but the contrasts you current have are nice.
