Color frustration

I am planning from afar and need some advice about wall color? my living room has ivory leather and chrome sofas with glass and chrome tables? my dining room (one very big room., the shared wall is 29 ft,12 ft ceilings) has Brazilian dark wood and shimmery ivory fabric with a square glass table. I want to warm up the rooms and bring a more classic touch. any ideas about wall and rug color are appreciated.

Greys or blues are not going to warm up the space. Those are cool colors. Beige, tans and even creamy yellows. Accents in red, orange or yellows will warm up the room. If you go that route your rug will work a lot better

What a beautiful space you have! I love the idea of choosing a greige for you rooms, but then you would probably have to change your curtains which look brown. I actually love the wall color you have. It feels very modern, open, and airy. I would choose a rug you love first, and then pick a paint color. What about a paint color that is a shade darker than what you have now? That would warm you space and add some contrast.

Would you please share where you found your dining room benches? I love them.

Accessible beige is a neutral beige and works with all wood tones.

I disagree that grey is JUST a cool color. There are so many grey shades at all paint stores that are warm. And yes, rug can be replaced with a more organic pattern. Your room now has mostly straight lines and angular shapes. Add objects with subtle curves and natural wood tones. Nature is warm and lively, right?

love the 3 rd picture with the blue rug. I know blue is not a warm color but my eye went right to that photo. can you tell me anything about the rug and the wall color? Thank you!

The only info on the blue rug is at the link when you click "More Info." There you'll find a link to a discussion that a rug dealer responded to, suggesting he had similar rugs which he showed. Consider having the rug made custom if you don't find the exact one. I found this one on Houzz, but it isn't quite the same - maybe a little "beachy." They make one in white and light blue but it is the background that is white and the design in light blue.
