It's not exactly jelly, but lingonberry sauce is really nice. It is somewhat similar to cranberry sauce, but less tart, and the flavor is subtly different. Unlike with cranberry sauce, lingonberry is a great on salmon. Cranberries on salmon just do not really taste right.

We've made rose petal jelly.

As well as most of the normal kinds. Grape jelly, Cherry jelly and jam, Strawberry jelly and jam, Blueberry jam, Plum jelly, Orange marmalade, you get the idea.

sam_md - have you had a look over on the Harvest Forum? People make jelly and jam from all sorts of things and that's where the real enthusiasts hang out. Regarding the beach plums - to make jelly you'd strain the juice so pits wouldn't matter. Making jam, on the other hand, would indeed be a lot of work. Harvest Forum
