Hi Sorie... Haven't seen you around so I assume you're new. Welcome... nice to see another Okie here! Seems like there are a lot of you!!

If you are taking cuttings, just cut intermediate "aged" material. In other words, don't cut brand new, just-developing-leaves vines. Don't cut old, kind of woody stems. Cut stems that are in between. Cut below a node. It's best to have at least two nodes on a cutting. A node, in case you need more clarification, is the knob where leaves grow from. Stick the bottom node in a pot of soil or a pot of chunky perlite. (It's ok to leave the leaves on - in fact, sometimes they make a great anchor...) If perlite, keep it moist at all times. If soil, keep it just barely moist. Keep in a shady warm spot. Once rooted... takes about 2-4 weeks this time of year...and you'll know because it resists a gentle tug... you can move it to a brighter position.
