Just Curious...

Ok, I signed up for Optimara alerts for when a fresh shipment is to arrive locally and have promptly gone to Lowe's and found I was way too late. I jus went today after getting the estimated arrival of Aug 14 but if I had to guess from the condition of the plants I'd say they arrived several days ago.. Then that got me thinking that maybe I am not too late but too early. Maybe the shipment will arrive tomorrow or the next day! My question is, has anyone tracked these alerts to see when the plants are actually delivered? I've had 3 alerts since I signed up and have tried going before the date, on the date, and after the date. No luck! And does anyone know why the alerts are never for Home Depot. By accident I got there the day of delivery a few months ago and several of the plants had labels!

WOW!!!! At least you get the alerts. I have signed up for those months ago and I am still waiting for a notification! Just by chance I went yesterday and got 4 violets that were looking good, had flowers but very dry. They even had LABELS! WHOOPEEEEEEE!!!!!! AND I didn't have any of them! I got Optimara Evelyn and Optimara Monique!!!!!! And two more with no names but I liked the flowers! Lucky me! (for a change).

But on the clearance rack were the ones they have had for several weeks for $1.49 (poor things, I almost bought them cause I felt sorry for them). I was beginning to think they would never get more in. Whew!

I think I mentioned before that our Home Depot (about 20 miles away) stopped carrying indoor house plants a few years ago. They are no longer an option. All I have is Lowe's and Meijer's. Rosie

awwww are you serious???? If they had been even the least bit variegated they would be,,,well,,,,somewhere in this house of no more room for violets!!! lol!!!!! Rosie

I get alerts. I've deleted the ones I've gotten, but I believe the alert is for when they're being shipped. I have to wait a few days for them to arrive and for the store to put them out.
