Absolutely. Penang Peach is a fat-branched compact growing plant, as are many seedlings from PP like Gina, Elsie, supp. California Sunset, Superround/Sangwal Tabtim/J115, etc. from JJ. It's a rather low growing tree with a round silhouette and an almost spreading appearance.

My Penang does eventually grow too large to move. When that happens it's time to take cuttings and start over. I would say it takes a few more years to get huge compared to most other varieties.

2 feet seems small for a several year old Penang though. They are compact, yes, but mine easily put on 6 to 10 inches per year --- on the higher side if they don't bloom and branch.
