Curtain question

Doing a decor refresh in our 1999 great room. Question on window treatments. I am considering long panels in a light blue slate that go down to the floor. Planning to spray paint the gold curtain rods old rubbed bronze. The small windows on either side of the fireplace are 29" wide. Should I use one panel or two on each of these windows?

Hi Chris,
I love your color pallet. I would suggest that you use two straight panels on each side. I would also recommend that you purchase longer curtains that allow you to take the rods all the up to within 6 inches or so of your ceiling. If you use shears take them to the same height.

What this treatment will do is create height and bring the eye up, making yours rooms volume seem much larger. The look will also create a vertical effect to frame out the fireplace like built in might do, for example.
