Bought a 1930s Tudor revival style home a few years ago. Have been wanting to paint plaster walls in living room since we moved in. Thinking of going with a warm creamy white. Want to show off beautiful woodwork and incredible Batchelder tile fireplace.

The question - Is off-white a good idea? And any specific paint color suggestions?

PS - ignore lamp placement in photos - rearranging furniture again :-)
