Gorgeous purple!

I have Amethyst Myst and Carnival Rose Granita and the old leaves go green. Very disappointing, but the Rose Granita are doing great so they'll stay. ;)

Can't wait to see yours when it gets bigger.

I bought three of them and had my grandson put them in the hosta bed he made this summer with some peacock spike moss. One by one the heucheras died. Spike moss and hostas still doing great, but no heucheras left. Are they always so fragile?

I remember seeing your picture (maybe in Hosta forum?). Sorry to hear that your Forever Purples did not make it. Nonetheless, they were gorgeous and what a pretty bed! I am not sure how fragile Forever Purple is as I have had it for only 3-4 months. I planted it where it gets only a couple of hours of morning sun. It has been doing well so far. I know that it showed some sign of stress when I first got it and put the pot at a spot where it received quite a bit of sun. So I moved it and since then it never received more than a couple of hours of morning sun.

Here's the poor bed now, a little home improvement has been going on behind it.

Were the purple ones in shade? I have ones (cant remember what kind) that stay green in half sun/half shade. I hear the lighter ones do better in shade but then I wonder if they still stay green.
