Countertop and backsplash accent advice needed

I'm doing a super contemporary gray bamboo floor, white cabinets with white subway tile. And I want a quartz countertop for both my kitchen and bathroom

What color counterparts should I go with?

I found a couple of black quartz samples for this photo, but I'm absolutely open to any other color, even white.

And if anyone could suggest a tile accent strip ideas, I'd certainly appreciate it. Currently I am thinking of the pictured one below (from Lowes).

Thanks!

Skip the bamboo. Way too many claims issues with it's installation anywhere that has real weather. A plain natural maple would work much better and warm up the cold color choices, while still remaining a neutral background. The backsplash is also very busy. One idea for a backsplash accent woud be a thin line of many different color tiles. Like the 3/4" glass that Petra did. That would be very warm and modern and give you much less rigid options for decor in the future. Your current choices read a bit cold and sterile.

The gray bamboo floor is a done deal. I am figuring on bringing in nice color via accent points, such as furniture, rugs, towels, etc. Perhaps an accent wall.

I think I can still accomplish a stunning goal with gray floor, white cabinets and tile.

The floors are blue purple gray and the tile is a green tan gray. They don't work together. The undertones clash. You need to keep in the cool tones in your whites and grays for this to work with the floors. The best choice for a counter might be an unexpected shot of color. Something like the much more turquoise than green Corian Mint Ice, backlit with LED so that it glows. I would skip any tile accent. It's limiting, and unless it is a pure black with no undertones. It's likely to clash with the floor too. That floor is going to be difficult to coordinate around.

I concur with GreenDesigns that a border of any color, even black or white, is too limiting in the future. Save color for things that are not permanent. But a matte or metalic gray might work without limiting your future color directions.

It's an interesting gray; it can change its undertones a bit depending on the type of light that hits it. It actually tends to have more of a tan undertone than not, as you can see from this night shot under a warm-ish LED light.

Black countertops might look a bit traditional or formal. It's hard to go wrong with all white. Your color accents can break up all the white - and be changed inexpensively as the mood hits you.

Cool backsplash tiles. Have you looked at the shiny silver type?

Thank you, yeah you mean like the stainless steel?

If I were to do black quartz countertop, I was thinking that the above accent strip I posted could bring together the white subway tile, gray floors and black countertop. That's just my current brainstorming thought, though.

I appreciate all your guys' comments, and am certainly considering each one of what you have to say!

How do you like the bamboo floor? What brand did you use?
