Functional Small Business Office Space To Work And Relax

My husband and I own our own dance studio. We are there 6 days a week with our two children ages 5 & 2. We have recently expanded and now have a 20x20 office space that has the potential to be our little sanctuary with in 10,000 square feet of warehouse space. I am trying to figure out how to make this space functional for both my family and for my husband and I to run our business. I don't want it to feel like a stuffy office, but a place for us to escape and be able to work at the same time. Did I mention we have two espresso colored desks we need to incorporate into the space as well as industrial grey carpet. Any help or advice on wall color, layout and storage would be appreciated.

Ikea might sell brackets/slim cables that can be hung from ceiling also/ then choose own curtains in a subtle pattern perhaps...

So the space you're concerned with is 20 by 20? How many windows? closets?

Besides work done on 2 desks, what else do you basically need to do there? How long a time are kids there/ will they need a nap place?

There are 5 windows that are floor to ceiling 8x4. No closets just an empty white box with grey carpet at this point. My children can be there on weekdays from 2-4 hours after school, and weekends any where up to 6 hours at a time. The little one still naps, the older one is starting school in the fall.

Work is done on two desks, but I always have to have meetings. I would like a sitting area, a place to eat dinner with my kids if beside art,a place to keep toys and video games, as well as a way to mount a TV for watching and work. I feel like I am asking for a "studio" apartment, but it feels like I live there at times. I go in at 10am and sometimes don't leave until 10pm.

A daybed could be appropriate for family seating/napping, behind accordion doors like photo, or behind art screen, or curtains, etc....how permanent do you want it to be?

Permanent installation is cool in this photo. Do you dance in your meetings?!! and so need lots of space...

You might be able to pin or tape notices, art, photos, etc... on these wall dividers. Or hang a quilt or fabric, etc....
