It seems as if you are wanting a unique glass - patterned back splash........ Typically one would wallpaper OR install glass tiles for a backsplash. I would challenge you to first do a few 'mock-ups' with installing glass tiles over wallpaper using a clear silicone. Post pictures of this project.

We can print the pattern you want onto glass tile. The printing is on the backside of the glass. If you put up wallpaper and then use glass, the adhesive for the glass tile would blot out the wallpaper. In our process, the adhesive would be under the printed image. Thus, the image (whether a pattern or a picture) would be above the adhesive and protected by the glass. I was thinking on putting a full sheet of glass over the wall paper. Paper the wall, then install a sheet of glass for easy cleaning.

If I understand you correctly that's what both of my above suggestions do. Put on the wallpaper which is a bit smaller than the glass then attach glass either with mirror clips. Or expoxy magnets to the wall on the outer edge of the paper. Epoxy the magnets to the front of the glass then let the magnets attach to each other.

I was thinking of the same thing.....put wallpaper up as a backsplash and a single piece of glass over it.....I was hoping to find a way to change the wallpaper if I wanted to in the future. I have a modern style kitchen.

My husband and I did this in our weekend home. 1/4 inch clear glass, soft wallpaper pattern and I cannot tell you how happy we are with it and how many compliments we've rec'd. The glass was very affordable and it was easy to install since the end of the range hood hold the top and a steel "J" bead holds the bottom of the glass behind the stove.
