Think of a closet that has a tub/shower, sink and toilet and lined up next to each other with no space. The door opens and the toilet is completely blocked. I want to repaint the room, but the ventilation is poor with a dropped ceiling. There is not much mold, but slight near the ceiling in some spots. Drywall was hung originally in the 70's with no primer on it before the original paint. Repainted in the early 90's and you can scrap your finger nail over the paint and it will peel off... I need suggestions for an extrememly inexpensive fix. Scrap the walls, find a primer that can handle moisture and repaint???? Any suggestions? Some of the original drywall needs patching too.
