Thats a nice offer, but winthrop's a trek and mine are just getting ripe. If you don't have any takers, might I suggest you get in touch with your local food pantry and tell them you have extra produce? People with low incomes so rarely have a chance to get really high quality fresh produce....and you know they woiuld go to people who would really appreciate some fresh among the canned and boxed products.

Wow, sounds like you have a great crop! I planted more than that - about 25 plants - and haven't gotten nearly enough! I guess that's what neglecting my garden gets me. :)

Maybe you should try posting to your local freecycle group or craigslist. Or, if you have time, set up a table at the end of your driveway and sell a few extras! Or, as Marie says, you can donate to a soup kitchen or food pantry as well.

I dropped mine off at a friend's house in the city very early in the morning so that they would not be refused! In the past I have brought them to work and offered them for free. One person thanked me with a gift of chocolate!
