As my grandfather used to say, there isn't 50 cents difference in them. I don't care for the white "ribbon" in the first photo, it's too fussy and pretentious for me, although I bet women love it.

    Best wishes!

Ha ha... I love the white 'ribbon' look....

Love the color of the first photo but I'm sure the RH version is just as fab in person. Go with the less expensive one and just add color with a coverlet, euro shams, and maybe a bolster. Cheers!

    I like the 1st one..it's calmer

Love both, but it depends on the colors you are planning to use throughout your bedroom and what your headboard looks like.

Hoping to have neutral colors of white, taupe and navy..lots of textures. My husband will build a headboard, which will be the focus of room.

I think that sounds great....I do love your first option, very soft, relaxing...... but I also love white for it's clean crisp feeling. Maybe consider the feeling you want for your room? What will the headboard be made of/look like? Can you give a description, please? :)

    Good luck! :)

PS lots of texture sounds great. :)

The headboard will be tall, (we have high ceilings, large room and king bed) mixed woods and some sort of lighting. Not soft. Thx for commenting everyone.

Well, then I actually think the white and wood combo can look extremely nice. Good luck to you....I can imagine that a tall headboard will be a great look. Have fun! :)

I like the taupe picture better, but if you took the white bedding added some Navy blue accents and maybe a gray wall or navy wall behind, it would be stunning.

I like linen, earth colors more.

Still like the first better--it's more interesting and just a tiny bit more unusual.

If you want a man to feel comfortable with the bedding, go with RH version. If not, go fussy. :)

nimrod, thx for chiming in. I thought both options were gender neutral! haha. I checked with my husband and he doesn't think it is too fussy:) I believe I will go with KH. Thx all.

hehe... your husband doesn't want to be sleeping on the sofa ;p

pretty much the same imo, but taupe is warmer than the stark white in the 2nd. is the rest of the room done? If not, decide on bedding after it is.

The room is a blank slate. Just installed hardwood floors. Haha, I thought picking out bedding is done first?

Well, I ordered the navy bedding from pb. I really did consider the KH taupe and white-from UK, but went with the less expensive and the one my husband preferred:) nimrod, thanks for your comments about that. Thx ALL.

    Here it is. Any suggestions?

Cream shows less dirt. It is natural and gives a calm feel to the room.

    It's beautiful.

I am still going to order the KH bedding, as a second set. I love neutral colors.

Hoping to paint wall a Taupe color (any suggestions welcome) , as I like the navy, taupe, white combo. Thanks all!

I would emulate this room. It has a lot of pizazz! And you ave all the elements in yoru room. Shutters are a great design element to give the room oomph and love themirrored black end tables and Chinese Export lamps. Check out More Info for paint etc.!
