I grow NuMex Sunset as well as NuMex Sunrise (yellowish). It looks like it could easily be Sunset. They both have a nice spicy flavor with a bit of heat - similar to other NuMex.

Jalapeno's are so across the board in heat levels so they may or may not be as hot as a jalapeno, depends on jalapeno type.

NuMex Vaquero is a jalapeno type with medium heat....

Thank you! Glad to know I'm not crazy and there are orange anaheims. They were hotter than they typical jalapeño I buy at the store, which means nothing. I'd consider these to be "medium" heat and not the "mild" on all of the grow sheets for the variety.

Tempted to throw some of the seeds in my garden just to see what happens. They were good, it would be nice to have them again.
