Very nice, good size too !! yours has an earlier harvesting time than mine then. I think mine won't be ready to pick until at least November December

Thanks, I'm in the southern hemisphere, so add 6 months into the calculation. They do take a long time to ripen, not that the animals are prepared to wait though.

Cool stories, I have one I got last summer that I guesstimate is about 1.5 to 2.5 years. It was flowering on and off from last year so I'm hoping for some fruit set if it'll produce enough flowers that two are open the same time so I can hand pollinate. Do you guys hand pollinate yours? Mine is in a 3 or so gallon.

Whoops, mine is a sugar apple (annona squamosa) not a custard apple (annona rericulata) sorry. I also have a young soursop (annona muricata) and some custard apple seeds that I want to try and sprout. Any advice for that?

They're quite easy, you shouldn't have any problems.

yay !!! tropicbreezent. Enjoy! How do you usually eat yours? I like eating it plain, or make smoothies with some condensed milk. I know some people also sprinkle a little chili-lime-salt and eat them fresh (more for the cherimoya b/c they're a little more sour), but my fruits are deep sweet and custardy in itself so I don't mask it with any dip.
