What is the shortest one can make this light?

I saw that the cord is 5' and adjustable. How short can I make it? Also, is the light 20" long from one end of the metal bar to the other?

Hi Jodie,

The wire can be adjusted as high as you'd like by simple pulling the wire through the canopy.

Correct. The canopy is approx 20" long

I also would like to know what is the minimal height of this light, I have only a 12 inch clearance before this light would be in someone's face. What is the length of the glass part?

This is the size of the entire fixture : 3.9" x 60" x 19.7 you will be able to pull the wire as short or long as you wish.the size of the glass part is 3.9 inch.
