Please Advise - a theme and items for Betta Aquarium

I had got my birthday gift a eco fish tank and recently bought
Halfmoon Betta and Buddha head. Now i am stuck wondering what should be
the theme and what else i should buy? How should we hide the pump wires?

We are planning to get some snails once some algae is built.

On side note does the Buddha head look nice?

Please advice by sharing the inspiration pic or some ideas? The
accent colors in the house are orange, yellow or aquas but it does not
matter if it matches...

I had a hard time googling this tank (Internet is being dumb at the moment) but what I gathered is that it's a hydroponic tank?

Is there any openings at the top? Bettas are labyrinth fish and need to be able to breathe in the air above their water. Also is there anyway to feed him? If it's one of those tanks saying the fish will live off eating the plants roots, that's a sham as Bettas are carnivores.

Are you going for an Asian themed tank?
