Hello, and thank you for asking. Yes, I designed and had this bed custom made locally fourteen years ago. The skirt is removable and camouflages a full size trundle bed with heavy duty casters so it's easily pulled out for sleepovers. The maple frame was custom stained in espresso brown and upholstered in Brunschwig & Fils fabrics. We wanted to make a bed that would hold up during childhood play and take the user into adult hood. As the little girl grew into her teenage years the bunnikens wallpaper was removed and the walls were glazed in a more hip raspberry color. I have also made the same design bed in a twin size for a client in the East.
