Dryer on top, seriously?

Who'd be dumb enough to put a side by side washer and dryer on top of each other?? It would be a hassle just to press the keys to start it

    Pretty common actually

Lucky I'm tall. I can reach the controls easily.
I hope it works out ok because I'm doing that.
Not only hard to reach but very difficult to see the display and buttons.

Just installed and I love it. Not hard to reach at all unless you are really short.

Not true. They can put the controls at the bottom of the dryer. Great space saver!

I'm 5'5" and am pretty sure I wouldn't be able to see to operate the top machine properly.

I see your point about the drier. The controls are way up on top, usually for this type of set of wash&drier controls are in between both of them. It's kind of difficult to manage specially for someone short hight. Except from that little detail. I believe it looks amazingly well.

Actually I would be dumb enough, we just did a small space with stackable's very happy with them, washers, and dryers take up a huge space, especially if you don't have a large room.

It's been a few weeks now having them stacked and I absolutely love it. Would never go back to side by side ever!

A stepstool would solve that problem. :D

How rude and unkind can you be? Andres Vera? Seriously? we don't know what the homeowner wanted. I think this space is absolutely beautiful. I am 5'10 and have no problem with the stack it would help my back.

I’m 5’6”. It’s perfectly fine and way better than side by side in my opinion. I can see everything just fine. My daughter is 5’2” and can reach too! I created a lot more room for storage by having them stacked. Seriously no issues

the controls are very easy to use and at 5'5" you would have no problem they are made to stack on top of each other

we do it all the time

YOU CAN GO TO APPLIANCE STORE AND CHECK OUT. I THINK RATHER CLEVER SAVES SPACE. BETTER THAN THE OLD STACKABLE.

I undid my stack! I kept hitting my eye glasses on them. And I am short so it was awkward.

Many stackable snow come with center operation panels like the LG wash tower - pretty awesome and space saving. I am 6’2” and have no issue

I’m 5’5 have stacked my w/d and wish I would’ve done this years ago! I have zero issues seeing or operating them. Love the dog bath area! Fabulous idea!
