Stink bugs and leaf-footed bugs are dealt with by dusting with diatomaceous earth. I suspect it'll work for squash bugs as well, which are similarly built. Mist your plants, and then take a handful of DE and blow it in a cloud over the plants with a vacuum cleaner. It'll stick (at least until is next rains).

You don't use the vacuum end. You use the pressure end. As in, wind blowing out. Wet your plants. Grab one handful of DE, aim your blower at it, and blow it into a big cloud over your plants. It will distribute over the plants very nicely, and stick to them. A hand vac might not work for this, but a shop vac works awesomely.

A few days ago, I found a swarm of these things all over the zucchini plants. I spent about 20 minutes with a mini shop vac and sucked up all I could find. I thought I'd have to do it again the next day in case I missed some, but I couldn't find any more.

Yes, definitely use the vacuum end on the bugs themselves once you've got an infestation. But early in the season, perusing the undersides of the leaves with duct tape and "sticking off" the eggs works wonders.

Well, I'll lug my shop vac out ONCE to coat the plants with DE. But if you're just going to be plucking mature bugs, get a mini-vac and do it that way every time you go out there. If you do the former, ideally you'll never have to do the latter.
