I've noticed this come up in topics around the web about various Stupice/Stupicke varieties and I see it sometimes in seed catalogs from other countries. Some seeds are labeled for outdoor use, others for indoor.

I assume "indoor" use means greenhouse growing.

Is there a real difference between how indoor varieties/selections vs. outdoor varieties/selections behave?

I know plenty of people grow "outdoor" varieties in greenhouses all the time, but has anyone grown seed labeled for indoor growing outdoors? If so, what was the result?
