chinese plywood in New River cabinets

Just about to pull the trigger on ordering these cabinets. They do use Blum hardware. This is what it says on their website: Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley woodworking country where pride and skill in craftsmanship is handed down from generation to generation. Our employees understand the importance of accurate measuring and cutting, wood selection and grain matching, precision fitting and fine joinery. New River Cabinetry offers fine American-made cabinetry crafted with pride and integrity, built with the strength and durability to last a lifetime. We provide the lifetime warranty to back it up.

Problem is that they are made in the US with chinese plywood. Is this common? I couldn't find them on the KCMA list. Are there other certifications I can look for or is this a deal breaker?
