What is the wood treatment?

The fence and gate look great. What is the stain or sealer used on it? Also, would you happen to know the height of the fence?

    The black portions of the arbor were painted. The redwood was treated with a clear preservative. Since it was done by a craftsman I am no longer in contact with I do not know exactly what he used . Fence is about 42" high
