So, we are designing a house and we did not care for the master bath configuration. What we found was that we liked the idea of tall his/her cabinets on each side vs a really long dual sink setup and under cabinets.

Now, the house comes default with the counters in the bathroom the same as the shower tile.. i.e. tile counters, which we are NOT a fan of.

So, we plan to propose an alternative with a free-standing vanity and matching cabinets.

Anyone used this sort of setup?

And the tile in the shower is a multi-color slate.
