i dislike it for the reason you said, it looks heavier, and all of the different angles of reflection make a solid color look busy. it would depend on whether your quartz is busy or not.

The perimeter of countertops is a gray quartz. Only the island is a marble looking quartz. I am leaning towards non beveled but my husband likes the beveled backsplash.

Since you aren't sure about the beveled, go with regular for a cleaner, more classic look.

I love what you choose in your kitchen. I am in the process of renovating mine and want it to look just like that. What cabinets, counters did you use? We also have a colonial and want to knock down wall and put in an island.
