Well as I was afraid that no one will comment so I just took out the fish n water but the unusual thing I found out was the bamboo has developed rhizomes on the stem means from the site where the leaves are protruding or coming out ......so plz tell me should I still keep it in the fish bowl it self or should I plant it some wwhere else???

In the pic its showing only one rhizome but there are more on other stems

I would not keep it in the fish bowl unless its in a separate jar, the fish urine will kill it,also I would remove the wire tie holding it together, I feel that its choking the bamboo, thats just MHO.. hopefully others will give you more advice,if you want maybe you should post over in the house plant forum where there is alot of action.Good luck
