Purple leaf shrub leaves turning green

First off for the life of me I can't remember the name of this shrub. I think it's purple plum leaf (shrub version).

I planted this in 2013 and it's tripled in size. It was a beautiful maroon color in the spring but now the leaves are green but new growth is maroon. Is this normal?
