Although I saw many mcm windows as a kid that had short curtains, most agree now that above the window if possible and to the floor is best. I see a sort of grayed out blue green, is that correct?

Although if you are going for an mcm look, you should definitely not have them so long they spill over the floor, nor so wide they should be more in a single panel. I have not been seeing them of late, but things like interconnected circles are a good pattern.

do you want me to look for with patterns? it may not be till monday, Hubby here on weekends, wanna spend time with him, but if i am given a budget, and given confirmation of color combos acceptable and that you do or don't want patterned. i can be pretty good at it. Also country, if not from here. I love shopping and no longer can work, so it normally is fun shopping for others.

instead of curtains how about decorative window film, lots of designs out

here are some that might be acceptable in a modern sense, they are very reasonable present light but cut heat down, and if you have a crummy view, well, not any more.
