This is my first time posting here so I apologize if I'm in the wrong place..

This is also my first time trying my hand at anything green. I'd become so sick of the poop covered produce at my grocery store, that I read as much as I could and decided to try my hand at veggies. I am in zone 9 and am container growing because most of our dirt here is sand sand sand (Fl Gulf Coast. )

I planted my Belle Radishes back on 8/2 (I heard they were okay to plant here as early as August) with Lamberts Potting Mix, and have fed them once with Plant-tone organic 5-3-3. I water regularly and they get "partial" sun during the day, but are always outside (I made the mistake of the "full 8 hours" once and lost a lot of seedlings due to burning! This is Florida - partial sun is a myth! Ha!) I figured since I read so many people use Lamberts for container gardening that the PH would be pretty spot on as far as the nitrogen issue would be concerned....so I am wondering, after all of this, why is it that I have BEAUTIFUL radish leaves - but spindly little roots - no bulb even remotely trying to be bulby? :-\

Any help would be much appreciated!
