Can a Corner Cupboard Be Altered to Fit a Smaller Space?

I have a Stratton corner cupboard that I love. Long story short, my new build does not have a large enough wall (corner) that it will fit in without overlapping the french door trim. Can a carpenter alter such a piece of furniture so that is will fit a smaller corner?
