Motor/duct issue?

Hi there,
We had a company install this today, finally. It looks great but it is REALLY loud and there is very little difference between the highest and lowest fan setting. We have a low pitch roof and there are no bends in the chimney to cause any additional noise. It goes straight up and out the roof. Our ceiling is 8' high and then a couple feet more until out the roof. Please let me know what to do. It is far from ultra quiet. Thank you.
