We are trying to put in a pool house (20 x20 or 20 x 30) on the left side of the yard, where the swingset used to be. Wanting to put in a pool in the center of the yard taking into account the odd shaped borders and the deck off the house. We have really struggled with a design for this area. We are looking for either a 36 or 40 foot pool. We have considered both L shaped and free form pools. Definitely want a diving board on the right side and shallow end to be by the pool house. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions. So far the pool companies have not been able to help us.

Landscape Architects and designers are a good recommendation, but a great pool and outdoor living space designer is used to pulling all these features together and will be more experienced in the pool design. Yes 3d software is the best way to visualize your backyard.

Irishroses, my apologies if I wasn't clear, 'Landscape Architects and Landscape Designers' is simply the Houzz category to try searching in if your search for pool contractors hasn't been favorable. Mark, I completely agree that utilizing a company that is familiar with designing all aspects of outdoor living, like pools, cabanas, outdoor kitchens, etc. is the best option for a seamless space. Your work is beautiful, and it appears we use the same software! Keep up the good work!

Pool Studio and Viz Terra by Structure Studios is the best presentation software for 3d visualization. I have been using for over 10 years and was one of the first users before it was Pool Studio.
