Where do I put the towel bars?

Where do I put the towel bars in this bathroom-to-be? I am concerned that if they are on the back of the door, it will eventually make the door hang crooked. If I hang them in the shower, opposite the shower head, will they get wet? I have never found towels to dry effectively on hooks.

I switched to the Turkish Fouta towels because I needed to use hooks and wanted the towels to dry. Love them!

Put them on the back of the door. If the hinges are sturdy it will be ok.

You could also choose a shower door type with a wide horizontal bar for a handle, rather than a vertical one -- that becomes a very handy (and dry!) towel bar. Otherwise, if not that or the back of the door, then I guess I'd go for a high multi-bar towel rack on the wall at the left end of your vanity.
